Providing The Strong, Skilled Advocacy You Deserve

Experienced Representation For Criminal Charges

The State of Texas takes criminal charges very seriously. The criminal justice system is designed to obtain your conviction. It is a one-way street and without an experienced criminal defense attorney at your side, it often leads directly to jail or prison. The process can be confusing and overwhelming, and all too easy to make a mistake that will leave you in an even worse position.

Your best option is to immediately ask for an attorney after you have been arrested and then say nothing until you speak with me. I am Grant Frankfurt, at Frankfurt Law Firm, PLLC, and I can help you deal with the criminal justice system while I work to minimize the effects of those charges on your life.

Remain Silent And Ask For Me

If you have been arrested, the police believe you are guilty of the crime. Do not make the mistake of attempting to ‘explain’ why you should not be arrested. Nothing you say will change their minds and it is very risky. An arrest is a high-stress event and you may be upset and bewildered. Your explanation may contain errors or misstatements that will come back to haunt you and your defense.

The less you say, the better; instead of explaining your ‘story,’ simply ask to speak with a criminal defense attorney and then remain silent until you speak with your attorney. If you hire me, I will aggressively protect your interests and rights, working to prevent a criminal conviction from damaging your life and your future.

Defense For A Wide Range Of Charges

I’m experienced with representing clients with a wide range of criminal charges. As a criminal defense attorney practicing since 2012, I have defended hundreds of clients from serious charges such as:

  • Driving while intoxicated
  • Drug possession, trafficking and other drug offenses
  • Internet crimes
  • Assault and battery
  • Sexual assault and other sex offenses
  • White-collar crimes
  • Homicide

In every case I accept, I am determined to fight for the very best outcome available. For me, there is no giving up and accepting the first plea bargain offered. I will negotiate with the district attorney’s office aggressively to secure a better deal; in other instances, I will take your case to trial.

I Have Police Training In Field Sobriety Tests

When law enforcement officers pull someone over on suspicion of drunk driving or DWI, they typically administer a battery of field sobriety tests (FST). However, they sometimes administer these tests incorrectly.

To allow me to better understand police procedure and process and to learn where mistakes can be made, I completed police academy training and am certified in administering field sobriety tests.

I examine how the arresting officer or other officers administered your FSTs and whether they did so improperly, as well as examining the entire DWI stop and arrest.
